Besties

Clover is coming home to Riverside in one week! She's been at my friend's since last July, keeping my friend's young mare company after the loss of her gelding. Friend is moving her mare along, and I get to welcome my old friend back home again. I'm super excited! I didn't realize how purposeless and out of sorts I've felt not having her home. The soothing regularity of feeding, turnout, stall cleaning; the fellowship of horse owners and the feeling of being a part of something that takes one so completely out of one's head.
