I’ve had the urge to write more in my paper journal for the last week or so, along with wanting to get into bed earlier and read for an hour, neither of which has happened. Both of which I’d benefit from; I’ve been overfeeding on the technology teat again.

At least one good thing I have been doing is riding Clover more this winter. This is the first winter we’re coming out of almost fit and well-schooled. I’m actually thinking we may actually do ok at the T School 2-phase (dressage and jumping tests, lowest combined score wins), if we get in. No more Beginner Novice (2’7” max. jump height) for us--I’m starting the season at Novice (2’11”) with an eye to schooling and possibly moving up to Training (3’3”) later in the season.
