Chair seat, as usual

I've been riding, trying out a couple of dressage saddles, actually. I tried a Mansion House by Albion that was too wide for Clover, and spent a couple of days riding in a Collegiate that fit Clover, but didn't help me in my quest to keep my legs under me. I'm going to try the Passier tonight.

Been doing flat schools lately, while trying out the saddles. Had some good results last night--I was very insistent that Clover not lean on the rein at all, no matter how briefly. I also started asking her to start to carry herself again at the canter, no more babying her along now that her injury is all healed.

It's been hotter and humid as hell, with bad air quality to match. Been riding late in the evenings, just as it cools down.
