All that in half an hour
Lesson in the indoor, my horse's strained shoulder has healed. We worked mainly on basics, maintaining consistent contact with the bit without overdoing and causing the horse to go behind the vertical.
Lots of half-voltes: changes of rein finished with half-pass back to the rail. Got maybe two good steps. Still, it's a half-pass.
Did spiralling in and out of a 20 meter circle, emphasizing use of the outside aids to control the spiral and maintain forward motion and position of the haunches.
Alternated posting and sitting trot. My sitting trot has improved a lot over the past year.
Worked on doublers, with 3 stride corners, and centerlines.
Finished up with some canter work; transition is good, but need to ride canter in more of a box use outside rein to organize, but don't let her break. Will need to fine tune and strengthen so we get a good connected jumping-through canter going again.
All that in 1/2 an hour!
